Is it possible to give fat to the area that have been suctioned before?

I'm truly sorry to hear about your experience. Overly aggressive liposuction in the waistline can unfortunately lead to the loss of feminine curves and the development of fibrosis, which makes revision challenging. Fibrosis creates dense, scar-like tissue that limits space for new fat grafts and reduces vascular support—both essential for fat survival.However, while difficult, it’s not always impossible. In select cases, with careful technique and layered planning, fat transfer can still offer improvement. The key is to assess the extent of fibrosis and determine whether there’s enough viable tissue to support grafted fat. Sometimes, multiple sessions are required, and results may be modest—but restoring softness and contour is often achievable.

Grafting fat to restore poorly done Liposuction is technically difficult and does not work well. Scar tissue as has been mentioned is one issue but the primary problem is that in order for fat grafting to work there has to be host tissue to support the graft.

Areas devoid of host tissue cannot support anything but very small amounts of grafted fat. This means that in order to build up tissue it typically requires multiple rounds of fat transfer. The fat grafts mail so not survive evenly. When the transition from the waist to the love handles and hips is done poorly it can often be corrected with Revision Liposuction. It’s too bad you didn’t post pictures because sometimes these cases can actually be improved upon very nicely by lowering the transition zone from the waist to the hips, buttocks and love handles.

Ideally patients should always include before and after pictures when wanting an assessment on the outcome of a procedure.

Determining if that transfer as possible or not really requires an in person assessment. You can always get some fat to survive but if someone has had most of the fat removed and it definitely requires a few rounds to build it up.

Revision work is many times more difficult than primary work so it goes without saying but you need to be in the hands of someone who knows what they’re doing.
