Dear aubreymum,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
While it is not uncommon to have some skin folds when in a seated position, it does appear that liposuction would improve your results. If you are interested in further skin removal on the sides the incision would have to be extended to address it. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns.
You would benefit most from liposuction of the abdomen and flanks to help deflate those rolls. Your problem is not really excess skin, so I would not recommend redoing the whole tummy tuck. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon as revision surgery is complex. Good luck!
hello, we give you 360 liposuction and tummy tuck revision surgery, you can get rid of sagging fat and have a thinner waist.
You are grabbing on your side where the tummy tuck does not fully treat. I would suggest having liposuction in that area and your flanks as well.
Everyone has skin laxity of their lower abdomen in the sitting position. If your skin was tight in a sitting position you wouldn’t be able to stand up straight. When making an assessment on the outcome of an operation we need to see proper before and after pictures. We assess abdomens both before and after surgery in a standing position.I suggest you follow up with your provider and have him or her address your concerns and help explain the inherent limitations in the outcome of the procedure. If you have skin laxity on your sides are back then perhaps an extended or wraparound tummy tuck conversion is the way to go.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD

An in person exam or further photos are needed to know for sure, but it appears you may have more skin that can be excised which may improve your results. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation.
