Just had blood work done and my Blood and everything is fine. The only thing is that my enzyme levels for my liver were a bit high. Will this be an issue for a bbl?? I do take a lot of Tylenol due to migraines and headaches from Work.
Answer: Will slightly elevated liver enzymes be an issue for a BBL? Hello and thank you for your question. I would see a specialist and have the liver issue looked into prior to having liposuction. I would seek consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a full evaluation and advice. Best, Pejman Aflaki, M.D. Johns Hopkins-trained double board-certified plastic surgeon

Answer: Will slightly elevated liver enzymes be an issue for a BBL? Everything else came out normal. You need to clarify this with your board certified plastic surgeon as this will depend upon degree of elevation and potential causes. The health of your liver will need to be assessed before surgery is considered. Non-surgical solutions such as diets, exercise and changing lifestyle are recommended as first priority before considering other options for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). If you are otherwise healthy with a BMI close to 30, a slightly elevated cholesterol may not present much of an issue in regard to moving forward.

Answer: Will slightly elevated liver enzymes be an issue for a BBL? Everything else came out normal. Elevated liver enzymes can affect how your body heals. The cause of why they are elevated can vary. Sometimes, it is as simple as alcohol consumption in the days prior to the lab draw. Other times it can be a sign of underlying liver disease. It is best to figure all of this out before undergoing surgery.
