I am 28 years old. 2 years ago I put on an under eye anti aging cream that badly irritated my under eyes. I put an excess of coconut oil that made the problem worse. Now I cant be in the sun because it hurts , and I haven’t been able to wear makeup in 2 years because my skin can’t handle anything except water, so no creams either. Everything hurts. My question is that do any procedures exist to help someone grow some layers back under their eye? Botox, filler , anything? I’m desperate.

Answer: Microneedling with PRP is a popular and effective treatment for addressing crepey skin in the undereye area Microneedling with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a popular and effective treatment for addressing crepey skin in the undereye area. This combination therapy can help improve skin texture and appearance by promoting collagen production and rejuvenating the skin. Here's how the treatment works: 1. Microneedling: Also known as collagen induction therapy, involves the use of a device with fine needles that create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These tiny punctures stimulate the skin's natural healing process, leading to increased collagen and elastin production. When applied to the undereye area, it can help to thicken and tighten the skin, reducing the appearance of crepiness. 2. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP): PRP is derived from your own blood. A small amount of blood is drawn, processed to isolate the platelet-rich plasma, which contains growth factors, and then reapplied to the treatment area. PRP helps further stimulate collagen production and enhances tissue regeneration, aiding in the skin's rejuvenation. Here are some key benefits of using microneedling with PRP for the undereye area: Minimally Invasive: It is a non-surgical, minimally invasive procedure with limited downtime. Collagen Stimulation: Microneedling and PRP work synergistically to stimulate collagen, improving skin texture and firmness. Natural Results: Since the treatment relies on your body's own resources (PRP), it is considered safe and generally well-tolerated. Reduced Fine Lines and Wrinkles: The combination of microneedling and PRP can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Enhanced Skin Hydration: PRP can improve skin hydration and give the skin a healthy glow. However, it's important to note that results may vary from person to person, and multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired outcome. Also, some people may experience mild redness, swelling, or discomfort immediately after the procedure, which typically subsides within a few days. Your healthcare provider will provide specific aftercare instructions to help manage these temporary side effects. It's essential to have this procedure performed by a licensed and experienced medical professional to ensure safety and optimal results. They can assess your skin's condition, discuss your goals, and recommend a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Hope that helps!....Lena
