Curious if cool sculpting would be a good option for my excess stomach fat? I am wanting something minimally envasive that can be performed (and healed) by summer time. I have an athletic build, enjoy working out, but after two kids the belly fat is sticking around and the bottom of my stomach is slightly loose. My stomach giggles a lot when walking in a bikini.
Answer: A combination of coolsculpting and Morpheus8 can help give you a more defined look Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Coolsculpting/Emsculpt Thank you for sharing your photos! I wound have to examine you to best answer your question, but based on your photos, you may be a good candidate for Coolsculpting and/or Emsculpt. Coolsculpting uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat. I often combine Coolsculpting with another non-invasive procedure called Emsculpt, which helps build and tone muscle and strengthen your core muscles. Most patients require more than one treatment. These treatments are not as rapid or dramatic as surgical procedures, such as liposuction or a tummy tuck, but they have no down-time. I take a hands-on approach when treating my patients to develop a treatment plan that works best for each individual patient. I suggest making an appointment with a fully-trained plastic surgeon who performs surgical and non-surgical treatments to discuss your options.
