Associated Skin Care/ Eden Prairie, MN is an awesome place for many treatments. I have had many procedures done , cool sculpting, Botox/Filler, MOHs surgeries, fraxel laser, etc. Dr Lisko, I trust with all procedures, she listens to your concerns and makes you feel comfortable with any procedure. The staff is always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Dr Lisko has been there for me through many personal procedures, tears and laughter and trust we have shared through a few years now.
I decided to give CoolSculpting a try after discussing with Dr. Lisko options for a flatter abdomen that was non invasive. My abdomen has always been flabby no matter how much I exercised. Dr Lisko explained to me how it works and what I could expect. Let’s just say I was not disappointed! The results I achieved from CoolSculpting are amazing! My clothes fit better and my abdomen is definitely flatter.
I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Lisko. She explained the Cool Sculpting procedure very thoroughly and addressed any concerns I had. Professional, friendly and caring, she made me feel at ease!
Dr. Lisko is awesome. She always takes time to listen & is very thorough when explaining procedures. She is extremely talented with determining the overall needs of her patients, while always making them feel relaxed & comfortable.
I began to see Dr. Lisko a few years ago for my acne. She was the first dermatologist that saw me as a person vs. focusing on just treating my acne. Dr. Lisko is kind, caring, and compassionate! With previous dermatologists, I felt self conscious talking about my acne. I felt ashamed and embarrassed. Dr. Lisko did not make me feel this way at all. She truly cares about helping you feel beautiful! If you are struggling with acne, I highly recommend you look no further, and call associated skin care to see her! I have also received many services with The Derm Girls (they have an Instagram). I am constantly impressed with their knowledge on skincare and treatments. I refer all of my friends and family to Dr. Lisko, and honestly everyone has fallen in love with her care. You won’t regret receiving care from her! Dr. Lisko has the cosmetic component to her practice, making her an ideal MD for any removals necessary. She is precise and handles you with care.
Excellent! From the time I walked into the office to the time I left. Dr. Jane Lisko made me feel comfortable during my procedure. She was very detailed in what to expect during the procedure. The day of the procedure, she made it like a mini spa day! I got to order lunch of my choice and was set up with comfy pillows. I was able to bring my laptop and watch a movie while drinking coffee during my procedure. Thank you Dr. Lisko for not only giving me a spa like experience with cool sculpting, but also AMAZING results!!
I would not go anywhere else for Coolsculpting after working with Dr. Lisko and her team. Last summer, I was starting to consider CoolSculpting after losing over 100 pounds and just not seeing certain fat pockets budge no matter how much I worked out. I researched a few different places for Coolsculpting but I was quick to find that a lot of places are more interested in selling than helping with my problem areas. The experience was so different with Dr. Lisko and her team. During the consultation, Kelly from Dr. Lisko's team explained what I could expect from Coolsculpting and when to expect it. They also were so down to earth and transparent on what was truly "worth it". I have now done two cycles on my abdomen and inner thighs and am beyond happy with my results. Looking to do my arms next!
Jane is a delightful dermatologist to deal with. I saw her in passing out in public a while back and she noticed my swollen eyelids and lips. She took one look at me and said, "You need to come and see me at the office!" Within a week I was patch tested for 85 potential allergens and she figured out I was allergic to five different things causing this super painful reaction. I had never had any allergies in my 48 years prior to this so this was all news to me. The topical solution she prescribed for me had me cleared up in two days and we had a follow up consult to discuss what I need to stay away from to eliminate/minimize this problem - Thank you Jane!
Dr Jane Lisko, a knowledgeable and talented DERMATOLOGIST—-with a helpful attitude! Highly recommend her Eden Prairie/MN clinic. Originally I visited the office for a general consultation, and have since continued to be patient of Dr. Lisko’s for over four years and my annual skin care health visits.
I am sorry you are having such a frustrating experience! It is unusual for individuals to not respond at all to Botox. I would suggest that a starch iodine test be done to be identify the areas that are still sweating. Typically, most individuals do well with 100 units of Botox per armpit (200 units total), although I do have a few patients that require 150 units per armpit (300 units total). While I am sure your physician is well versed in Botox, another potential failure with Botox is injecting it too deeply. The injection must be very superficial in order to have good effect. It might be interesting to treat one armpit alone, so you would have the other side as a control to really judge whether you have improvement. Finally, I would suggest that you consider miraDry treatment instead - especially if you are paying out of pocket for this treatment. miraDry is the only FDA approved permanent solution for underarm sweating.
I am sorry you had trouble gaining full anesthesia during your treatment. Yes, the epinephrine is a major component in the success of anesthesia. Epinephrine constricts the blood vessels which prevents the anesthesia from dissipating too quickly. In other words, epinephrine maintains numbing longer. In addition, epinephrine minimizes bleeding, so it can decrease bruising as well. If you are sensitive to epinephrine effects, your practitioner could use a lower concentration of epinephrine. In addition, I would recommend that you be well hydrated and well rested prior to the procedure.
Great question! The answer is no, there are not any negative effects of doing Cooltone before Coolsculpting. These treatments really compliment each other and can be performed in either order. In general I recommend Coolsculpting first in order to debulk an area which serves to make the results from Cooltone more readily visible. This is especially relevant when treating the abdomen. Some patients are eager to debulk and tone quickly, so piggy backing (alternating between Cooltone and Coolsculpting) the treatments can also make sense. Good luck on your journey!
From your photos, you would be an excellent candidate for Coolsculpting. This FDA approved non-invasive treatment freezes and kills unwanted fat cells. In order to get best results, I would recommend treating both the upper and lower abdomen as well as the flanks. This would beautifully sculpt your waist. It is hard from photos alone to judge the apparent indent below your belly button. I believe this indentation is exaggerated by the unwanted abdominal fat above the indentation. The indentation should become less evident as the unwanted fat is diminished. Following the fat reduction, I would also consider treating the abdominal wall with Cooltone to better define the abdominal muscles.
PAH (paradoxical adipose hyperplasia) has been estimated to occur in 1 out of every 4,000 CoolSculpting treatment cycles, which is an incidence rate of 0.025 percent. This side effect is exceedingly rare. Given the location that you are wishing to treat (abdomen) and your healthy BMI, you sound like an ideal candidate for Coolsculpting. Furthermore, liposuction is a very safe although more invasive treatment for unwanted abdominal fat. That is to say, should the worst happen and you developed PAH, liposuction is a reliable remedy.
