Are any of the at-home CoolSculpting or other fat reduction devices effective?

Wondering about this, given the proliferation of such devices on e.g. Amazon.

Coolsculpting is an FDA-cleared device for stubborn fat, but also its has a special protocol, becuase one of the main thing is that you can couse 1st to 2nd dregee burns, so i wouldn't recommend looking for at-home devices.

Fat reduction devices that can be used at home do not go through the same rigorous process of obtaining approval from the FDA, like CoolSculpting has.  I would say that at-home devices would be less effective than CoolSculpting and possibly not effective at all.  Also, there would be safety concerns with using at-home devices as well.  It is possible that using devices at home could cause tissue damage as well.  I would not recommend using any of the at-home fat reduction devices.

No other fat reduction devices go through the process of obtaining approval from the FDA, like CoolSculpting has. I would say that the devices like CoolSculpting would be either ineffective or show some safety concerns as well. You'll only be damaging your skin causing potential tissue damage or numbness.
