My breasts are the same size 6+ months after a breast reduction. Why?

In June or July of 2016 I had a breast reduction (I forgot the exact date) and it's not February if 2017 and my boobs are the same size. I went into surgery a 38DDD and am now wearing a 38DDD. I feel like I am a malpractice case because I shouldn't be the same size? My weight hasn't changed. I basically got a lift. Please help. Why am I the same size? My doctor won't address my concerns.

I am very sorry your surgery did not help you with your condition of large breasts. Your photos demonstrate that unless breasts become small enough, they do not stay lifted for very long. If your consent information indicates that you agreed to a breast reduction you should have a record from surgery to refer to to see exactly how much tissue was removed. This number is helpful to understand your situation. Unless your weight is reduced by however many pounds were removed in surgery, it's possible your result can be affected. I think it is always worth it to try again to resolve this with your surgeon. Make sure you ask these questions and discuss what options they think you might have going forward so you can make sure you are certain that your communication is working both ways!! and your surgeon has a pathology report documenting this and it had to be enough to meet insurance requirements so you have to be smaller.  BUT you wear the same size bra??? Its more probable you squeezed into that bra size.  Also, the flop of the hypertrophic breast makes its 'bigger' than it really is as its pushed into the cup.  So you may appear larger or as large as you started but if tissue was removed, it should be documented somewhere.
