I had noticed that my chin was looking weird and a slight indent when I smiled. Now 3 weeks later I'm lisping, my lower lip doesn't move and to open my mouth wide to eat a sandwich is nigh impossible, depending on the sandwich. Not to mention the bottom of my chin still looks like an "orange peel".

Answer: I went in for Botox about 3 weeks ago: lisp, lower lip movement. It appears you have some lower facial weakness after Botox in the chin area. I suggest you speak with your injector to address your concerns.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO

Answer: Adverse muscle effect post Botox. Hello there,Thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear about your concern. From your explanation, it seems you wanted botox in your chin but it affected your bottom lip, instead of your chin. It seems to me that the botox was injected in an incorrect muscle. Unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done to help the botox wear off faster. Try to apply heat as often as possible and move your bottom lip by puckering it and hopefully the botox will wear off sooner rather than later. I also really recommend returning to your provider and discussing your concerns. Hope this helps. All the best,Carlos Mata, MD, MBA, FACSBoard-Certified Plastic Surgeon
