Had botox15 days ago and when I wake up I look awful. During the day it sometimes gets a little better but I feel like a meanderthal. Im guessing my foregead has "fallen" down?? Is there anything I can do? Thank you :) First photo is my eye before botox.
Answer: My eyes look weird after 15 days of Botox. Is there anything I can do? Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. When treating the horizontal wrinkles of the forehead it can limit the ability of one's eyebrows to elevate, and if this is a normal method of expression it can result in some sagging. You may be able to improve this with additional botox along the upper crow's feet but ultimately may require the effects to wear off in 3-4 months.

Answer: A droopy brow after Botox may be treated with a dose-adjustment depending on your exam. You appear to have experienced several millimeters of lowering of your left eyebrow after your Botox treatment. You may not have blepharoptosis, or a droopy eyelid. A droopy brow may be treated by paralyzing the upper eyelid muscles by the tail of your brow for a slight lift. Visit your surgeon for evaluation, and don't worry since the effects are completely temporary and may improve significantly over the next few weeks. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

Answer: Botox and Eyes and Correct Placement in the Forehead It appears that your Botox was placed low in the forehead and has caused you to have a droop and has lowered your eyes. This droop will resolve in a few months times. Please consult an expert in Botox and correct placement to avoid these problems in the future. Best, Dr. Green

Answer: What to do about heavy eyes after Botox The only muscle in the face that elevates the eyebrows is the forehead muscle (the frontalis), and if this has been relaxed completely by your Botox injections then your eyebrows will feel heavy and be lower. There is nothing to do to reverse this but wait for the Botox to wear off in 3- 4 months. The only thing that may help at this point, is to relax the muscles that naturally pull your eyebrows downward. The muscles in between your eyebrow (the glabella) and the muscles at the outside edge of your eyebrow (the lateral brow depressor) pull the brow downward. If these muscles were NOT treated in your original Botox visit, then return to your injector and have these areas treated. This may give you a bit of brow elevation while you wait for the Frontalis Botox to wear off. In the future ask that your injector not treat the Frontalis, or at least not over your eyebrows. Hope this helps.

Answer: Droopy eyes from botox This happens because the muscles that raise the eyebrows have been relaxed by the botox. Unfortunately this can occur when botox is injected into the forehead muscles. Sometimes injecting into the lateral edge of the brow may help to lift the eyes and sometimes eye drops will counteract the effects of the botox. You should discuss this with your injector. the good news is that it will eventually wear off in about 3-4 months.
