Saline implants do have a permitted fill range, and they are often filled above the base volume to reduce rippling or improve symmetry. The important point is the manufacturer's labeled range for that exact implant model; if a 330 cc implant was filled to 500 cc, that would be a large overfill for many saline implants and would not be considered routine unless that specific shell was designed and labeled for that range. Ask your surgeon for the implant card or operative report showing the manufacturer, model number, base volume, recommended fill range, and actual fill volume. Overfilling beyond recommendations can make the implant feel firmer or rounder and may affect shell stress, warranty, and long-term behavior. If you have pain, sudden size change, visible distortion, or a suspected leak, you should be examined by your surgeon.
