Thank you for the question. The best option is to have your facial before Botox, or wait until the next day.
We tell our patients to wait 24 hours to rub the areas (or receive a facial) after being injected with Botox. Hope this helps, and best of luck!
Great question and I don't think there is a definitive answer for this question. I n my practice I tell my patients to wait for 24 hours.
After about 24 hours, there really is no restrictions in having any other procedures or facial treatments done so you should be fine to proceed. Good luck with your facial.
I recommend following up with your injector about their protocol for getting a facial after Botox. It is usually recommended waiting 24 hours after Botox. It will take 1-2 weeks for final results with Botox. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. We advise patients no strenuous activity for 24 hours after Botox and I would do the same amount of time before getting a facial. You do not want any pressure on the areas of injection for a minimum of 24 hours.
I recommend waiting at least 12 hours after your Botox treatment before having a facial. The main area of concern is the forehead and pressure leading to the Botox working in a deeper plane than intended.
I would recommend waiting at least a day after a Botox treatment before having a facial. Different physicians may have varying opinions on this however.
Thank you for your question. We usually recommend waiting 24 hours after having Botox injected before getting a facial. Another option is to schedule your facial prior to injection, then you shouldn’t have to wait.
You should do the facial prior to the Botox or wait 24 hours after having Botox before getting the facial. Always seek treatment from a qualified physician.
This occurance after Botox to the forehead would be very uncommon, and if it happens again it should be discussed thoroughly with your practioner. Especially if you've had this happen at any other times in your life, to make sure there isn't another underlying cause.Good luck,Dr. G

Thank you for your question.I would wait a full 2 weeks before doing anything else to the area. That will be enough time for any swelling to subside. At this point it is hard to tell if it is swelling or if too much product was injected. If the bumps are still there in a week, have your injector...
It is very common to hit little capillaries and veins (particularly those around the eyes) with Botox injections. Some patients even may bruise as well. Both normal and common. Generally these little broken capillaries and/or bruises absorb within 1-2 weeks. If that little red mark remains vi...
Botox is injected into the muscle that is being treated, and stays there. It does not enter the bloodstream and therefore will not be affected by an oral remedy, such as activated charcoal. Your Botox should last about 3 to 4 months. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist who can help ...
Great question, These lines I tackle with two staged process. First start doing botox in the area to prevent these lines from getting deeper and then if after few rounds of botox they don't get smoothened out then fillers will do the trick. But the key is regular botox before the muscle action...
