I will be having lipo in Mexico and I’m feeling sick I’m getting a cold

Can you imaging being sick to start with and getting surgery in mexico.? Some times it is just not worth the risk but you can still do fine with surgery in mexico.  It is just so many stories that we hear all the time about it that scares us.

Geez, what could possibly go wrong here? You are sick AND planning to have surgery OUTSIDE the US. Either issue by itself can be a big problem. Seriously, your surgery is elective and it is NOT prudent to undergo it if you are sick. You may experience problems that otherwise could be avoided. Therefore, I recommend that you contact the surgeon and reschedule the surgery when you are fully recuperated.Good luck!Steven Turkeltaub, MD
