Sculptra should not be diluted with regular distilled water. The manufacturer states that Sculptra should be diluted with sterile water. Regular distilled water is normally not sterile and would pose an infection risk.
Thank you for your question. Since this is an injectable, there is a higher infectious risk than with bacteriostatic water. I also add injectable lidocaine solution to Sculptra when mixing.

Sculptra is not known to cause acne, but it is possible to get bumps at the injection sites and even have some granulomas from the sculptra itself. I would recommend going back to your doctor to make sure you are not having an adverse reaction and to be evaluated for proper treatment of your acne.
