Answer: Liposuction results Dear mg.belleza,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a liposucftion. However, you are still in the early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Touch up lipos are occasionally needed for further improvements. From your photos, you are improved and will continue to improve over the next 3 months. A touch up lipo is probably a good idea to do in 1-2 months from now since I don't think you will tighten up as much as you want on its own. Let your doc do the touch up and you probably will only need to pay for the operating room fee.

Answer: Issues with my liposuction, what can I do if I'm unhappy with my results? Thank you for your question and photos. You did have a "fat reduction" liposuction and not sculpting. This is the expected result, since 99% of surgeons do fat reduction surgery only. I'm not surprised that your surgeon is proud of his achievement. You still have gynecomastia (although now it is saggy) and lots of fat on your torso. You are half way through your healing, and can expect some resolution of the residual swelling. Don't hope for miracles. In my practice, you are the type of patient I see in increasing numbers weekly from around the country. Over 20% of my practice is secondary body contouring after suboptimal results. This is difficult surgery due to the internal scarring from the first surgery. I use the VASER Hi Def Lipo technique to sculpt out the underlying muscles to create an athletic figure. You need to wait until you are completely healed, 6-8 months, and then seek a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques. Do not go back to your initial surgeon, even though he might offer a free revision. Based on his preop markings, he has no idea or technical ability of body sculpting. You will not be happy with a revision, you will need a new operation. Good luck with your healing.

Answer: Liposuction Results & After care includes RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra) Cellutone/zwave, hyperbaric oxygen It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Answer: You The definitive correction for liposuction deformities requires the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or Facetime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
