How can I remove excess fat and skin around the knees? (Photos)

Question

55 years old, 5’9, 180 lbs. Bilateral liposuction full legs (2018), thigh lift & calf lipo (2020). Some complications with calf lipo. Suffered external burns and permanent scarring. I thought the thigh lift, which extended to the knees, would correct the shelf/skin over the knees but it did not. I am not pleased with the appearance of my knees, nor do they look good under pants. Additionally, they are not symmetrical. What can be done to remove the fat and get rid of the shelf?

There are no easy good options to improve the outcome of your previous procedures in regards to the skin redundancy over your knee.
Direct excision of the skin is an option, but it would leave a scar and it’s a tricky area because of the tension on the skin under full knee flexion.
To assess the outcome of your previous procedures, it would be helpful if you could include proper before and after pictures for each of your previous procedures.
I’m guessing you probably had several procedures for that outcome.
I don’t think the Liposuction done previously was very good.
I’ve seen worse, but I’ve also seen much better. It seems like your Liposuction was done in an overly aggressive manner, possibly using an energy based device like VASER.
Lower extremity Liposuction is inherently difficult.
Improving women’s flabby thighs it’s just one of those things we don’t have great treatments for.
 Personally, I would probably recommend you ”cut bait” and accept the outcome for what it is and move on. There’s often room for some minor improvement with revision surgery, but after a while, the potential improvement becomes less and less.
This is especially true for people who have been previously overt treated.
