Diffuse pain with breast implants 1 year post-op, what could be the cause?

The most common causes of pain are capsular contracture, infection, changes in nipple and breast sensation with hormonal swings, implant leakage or rupture, or muscle strain. Unfortunately, you will have to wait for an in-person evaluation from your PS to determine the specific reason.

Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your symptoms. I would strongly recommend returning to your surgeon for an evaluation to determine the cause of your symptoms.  These are not typical symptoms and should be addressed. 

Thanks for writing,Anything that goes in the body, hip, knee, pacemaker, screws etc, the body forms a scar sac around (a capsule). This capsule has the ability to tighten and pull and even distort. It seems this is happening to you. The scar sac is probably attached / stuck to your chest wall muscles (serratus and others) and is constantly pulling on them causing pain. The pain can travel as you have seen. That being said, there are no photos to review and we have no medical, surgical or implant history. I would find the surgeon who place these implants and I am certain, he / she will be happy to help you understand these issues and offer you some options to resolve the problem for you.
