I'm from the UK and wanting some advice on which type of breast implants are the best

Hello there.  There is no one 'best' implant and both Nagor and Allergan are very well known and well respected companies.  There are some differences between the warranties of the two makes, which might help you decide.There are other types of implants, such as polyurethane foam coated implants made by Polytech, which have advantages and disadvantages, so these may be worth considering when trying to choose what might be best for you.I always say that the most important choice is your surgeon rather than the implant, so if you are comfortable with your surgeon, I am sure that you will be fine with either Nagor or Allergan.Good luck.

There are advantages and disadvantages that you get for either implant. They both produce great results if the surgery was done properly. The skill of your surgeon and the technique he uses are what really makes the difference. If you are assured with your surgeon, then you may expect a good result with either.

Hi There.  Thank you for your question.  Your choice of implants is an important decision as these will be with you for 10 to 30 years.  I recommend to my patients PolyTech implants and B-LIte implants - both made in Germany and have approval in Europe with excellent safety profiles.  B-Lite will soon be approved in Canada (not yet in US).  B-lite implants are 30% lighter than standard silicone implants which is more significant with larger implants. Mammography detection of breast cancer is better with B-Lite implants vs standard silicone implants.   Both implants are available in all shapes, smooth and textured.  What is suitable for you to achieve the optimum results will depend on your present size and shape together with you goals.  Hope that this is helpful and good luck with your breast augmentation
