What’s the best way to pay for rhinoplasty? Do you recommend I save up for it beforehand?

I’m currently working on paying off my student loans and my plan is to have them paid off by next spring/summer. I really don’t want to get into debt again to pay for my rhinoplasty. Do you recommend I save up for it beforehand or is there another way I can do this?

I don’t blame you for not wanting to get into debt again, at least not right away. Most surgeons require payment in advance and most take credit cards.  Or you could simply save up for it.  The is a program called care credit which you can look into but it is really no different from using a credit card.

Cosmetic surgery is paid before the procedure occurs. The cost vary from surgeon to surgeon, facility to facility, and anesthesia provider to anesthesia provider. Most of our offices offer different forms of financing, at an additional cost to the patient (in many cases). But you should always have the funds in reserve, "in case" because you may desire a secondary procedure that wasn't covered by the cost of your first procedure.

Rhinoplasty is an elective surgery so there's no urgency to undergo the procedure.  There are options  to finance the procedure through companies like CareCredit but you should wait until you are financially stable.  Patients should always be prepared for possible revisions even if it's rare.

There will be different options depending on what is available at the specific office. Of course it is best to be able to pay for the surgery at one time and also be prepared for additional costs such as medications, etc. There are other options if you do not want to pay all at once. For instance, my office offers financing programs with monthly payments. Most plastic surgery offices offer some type of third-party financing, however that puts you into debt again. The best ways to save up beforehand for the procedure. The cost of a rhinoplasty Is directly related to anesthesia fee, surgeon's fee and operating room fee. It will vary based upon geography and surgeon's experience. Rhinoplasty is one of the most difficult procedures to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery,  so choose your surgeon wisely based upon quality, not price.
