Hello and thank you for your question about your facelift, rhinoplasty, and medications. Discuss Prolia, as well as any other medications you take regularly, with your board-certified facial plastic surgeon and anesthesiologist prior to having your procedures. While Prolia may not pose any complications, it is best for your operative team to be informed and for you to have their opinion before surgery. Schedule a follow-up if you have already had an in-person consultation with your surgeon to discuss this issue. Good luck!- Jacqueline T. Cheng, MD
... and your age wouldn't get in the way, as long as you're generally healthy.Be sure to read the section in the "Learn more" link on how to stay out of trouble while searching for a rhinoplasty surgeon. Rhinoplasty in particular is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. At the *very* bottom of the "Learn more" page is a link to instructions on taking and sending photos that are comprehensive and useful for an online consultation like this, in case you'd like a more complete evaluation.

Choose your surgeon wisely based upon extensive experience producing natural rhinoplasty and facelift results. Study their photo gallery closely

The complaints and timing of nasal congestion that you have expressed are relatively common. Most of the issues you are having are likely related to swelling. It can take a while for this to normalize. I would discuss your concerns with your surgeon as there may also be some intranasal cru...
Dear LolaELb, Thank you for your question. I can make out what appears to be a stitch in the first picture but the picture is not very clear. In the second picture the suture appears to have been left long intentionally. I think these are meant to be removed. However, it is best to check with...
