Tyndall effect 8 months after Restylane Lyft? (Photo)

Hello, and thank you for your question. Tyndall can occur at any time. Filler is placed strategically, however, that does not mean that filler cannot migrate to unintended places. An additional cause for this effect, could be something called a vascular occlusion, however, less likely given the time period that it occurred, but does not mean that it could not occur. A vascular occlusion is an area where blood flow is blocked which can cause the skin tissue to become necrotic. It is difficult to determine the true cause without having an in-person consultation. I would recommend seeing a provider who specializes in placing nose filler as well as one that could dissolve the filler. Most likely dissolving the filler would fix the issue but it is best to discuss your options with your provider! Hope this helps!

Sorry for your troubles and thanks for sharing your photos. I see the single prominent vein and rounded bluish tip. This could be venous congestion following vein occlusion but I would expect this to have improved or resolved by now. While I have not seen a tyndall effect along the nose following many non-invasive rhinoplasty injections myself, it is conceptually possible. Has your injector tried the reversing enzyme hyaluronidase. Massage and warm compresses may help as well. Consider obtaining a second opinion from a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon / ENT Facial Surgeon with lots of non-surgical skills and experience.
