It definitely appears that after everything you have experienced with infections after your procedures then it would be best to see your PS in person to have these issues evaluated ASAP. The infections definitely need to be resolved. Best of luck to you.

It is best for you to contact your surgeon and schedule an evaluation. An examination of the area needs to be done to determine the next steps. The antibiotics alone may not be adequate to fight the infection. Your surgeon is the best one to guide you as he/she is most familiar with the details of your surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery.

You need to return to be seen by your chosen surgeon ASAP! Sounds like a very serious abdominal infection! ER doctors are generalist not specifically trained in cosmetic surgery. To me you need hospitalization with IV antibiotics and possible abdominal flap exploration surgery. Sorry. But your surgeon needs to take care of you TODAY!

If you have an infection antibiotics are indicated.  The antibiotic of choice should be targeted to whatever bugs are causing the infection. In most cases the drainage is cultured to identify the organism and its susceptibility to antibiotics.Be sure you follow up with your surgeon.  If there are permanent sutures or other material inside the infection will be difficult to eradicate.  Any build up of fluid needs to be drained (and cultured).

See your Plastic Surgeon as soon as possible. Antibotics cannot cure wound infections.  The unhealthy tissue must be removed and any infection has to be drained.   This needs to be addressed immediately.
