Nevus on entire tip of nose. Is there any way to remove it with rhinoplasty? (photos)

I am a 33 year old female. I have had a raised mole on the entire tip of my nose. I have not measured it, but it does seem to have grown in size over the years. I also have noticed a couple tiny bumps on the very tip. One of them very recently. I'd like to think of myself as a very confident person, but this has been a constant struggle of insecurity for me. I'm wondering if there is anyway to remove it with rhinoplastic surgery. Thank you so much for your time.

As others have said, you just need to go and see a plastic surgeon in person. None of us are 100% sure what is causing the appearance of a lump on the tip of your nose by just looking at the photos, but in person it will be fairly easy to tell if it is part of the skin, under the skin, due to the shape of the cartilages etc etc. It is unlikely to be a 'mole' aka naevus aka intradermal naevus. Regardless, it will be possible to improve it cosmetically, and for some things (ie if it is a cyst) it will get bigger with time so is best dealt with sooner rather than later.

It really looks more like a cyst or a “tumor” of some kind rather than a mole or negus. You definitely need an in-person examination. Given that it’s either in the skin like a large cyst or under it, like a vascular or even basal cell growth, the best approach would probably be directly excising it rather than a rhinoplasty. But that would be a decision the examining doctor would have to make.

A nevus is a growth on your skin, and getting removal of your nasal tip lesion would largely depend on your examination. If there are questions after an examination, imaging studies may be considered to determine the size and extent of the lesion. If it is in fact a nevus, a shave biopsy for tissue diagnosis may be helpful.

I’m not sure it’s a Nevus. It could be a sebaceous cyst. If it’s a cyst it can be drained through a small incision. If it is a nevus it’s hard to remove with a perfect cosmetic result. Other than that it really needs to be seen in person and hope it is a cyst.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from a rhinoplasty and mole removal. Yours is a most interesting and not so straightforward situation.... that is quite a large nevus.... it MAY be possible to remove it while decreasing your tip projection with a bot of creativity with regard to incision placement

If there isn’t enough skin to achieve this in a single stage, there are a number of reconstructive options to consider

An evaluation in person obviously is a must. It is hard to tell from the photo but this may be a hemangioma. Was it present as a child? If so, there could be an attempt to remove it with an open rhinoplasty technique. The biggest concern is the quality of the overlying skin and how involved it is with the tumor/lesion. Doing an MRI would better delineate what it is and the extent. I would suggest you go to the University of Michigan which is close by to you.
