I am a 33 year old female. I have had a raised mole on the entire tip of my nose. I have not measured it, but it does seem to have grown in size over the years. I also have noticed a couple tiny bumps on the very tip. One of them very recently. I'd like to think of myself as a very confident person, but this has been a constant struggle of insecurity for me. I'm wondering if there is anyway to remove it with rhinoplastic surgery. Thank you so much for your time.

Dear Sassafrass31,
it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

There may be specific reason why your surgeon have selected cadaver cartilage for tip support instead of your own; patient own tissue is always better tolerated than cadaver graft. In general, cartilage grafts have very low resorption rate and change minimally in a long run. Good luck.
