I plan to have a rhinoplasty in the near future. Specifically, I am having a columella strut graft (made from cadaver cartilage) placed in the tip of my nose in order to increase projection. If the graft starts to resorb, will the effect be noticeable? If my surgeon inspects my nose after surgery, will the surgeon be able to tell if the graft is starting to resorb? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your question and photos.
Rhinoplasty, surgical instruments known as rasps and osteotomies (hammer and chisel) are used to reshape the nasal bones by removing the hump and/or narrowing the nasal bone width. These tools are relatively imprecise and their use can lead to contour...
Thank you for your Question. if you are thinkıng of having Rhinoplasty Surgery you should not have nose fillers you can have the normal Face fillers which is okay.
The location of tear trough implants is always more lateral than the nasal bones. While they are in the neighborhood of the nasal bones, they are not that close. If there is any doubt check a 3D CT scan which will clearly show their placement as well as that of the has-maxillary suture line.
