Thank you for your question. In general, patients who resume sitting too soon after a BBL are at increased risk of losing some of their transferred fat. I recommend not sitting on your butt for one week after fat transfer. After one week you can sit on a BBL pillow on your upper thighs. One month after surgery you can begin sitting normally. Good luck!
You should wait at least 2 weeks before sitting without a support cushion and sleeping on your back. Sitting with no support too soon can harm the newly moved fat cells.
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Each doctor has their own protocol. It is very important that you talk to him about your concerns and goals. I recommend my patients not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up close with your plastic surgeon.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)

As you may know every doctor have different approaches regarding tjecadter care of a BBL. In our case, having performed thousands of BBl we do not advise and special device or cushion to sit on after the procedure. We do recommend patients to sit on the back part of their thighs for the firsts days but this does not mean you cannot lay down. We have not seen significantly changes when pressure is applied to the buttocks and when it is not applied.
