White spots around the navel after tummy tuck - Is this normal healing? (photo)

I’m not sure if u can tell from these pictures I have had my navel packed by myself once for 4 days and this is what it looked like today when I removed he pack it had some leakage and it is a little bloody with some white spots and the stitches are starting to fall out. Are the white spots normal healing? I put peroxide on it to clean it I let it dry and then packed it again with ointment gauze -see picture for the brand etc. should I just use neosporin instead of this ointment gauze?

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Unfortunately the white spots you reference are difficult to appreciate in your images.  I would speak with your surgeon about your concerns as they know the full details of your recovery.  This may be due to sutures, pimple formation from pore occlusion, etc.  Hope this helps.

Hard to answer without knowing how far out you are and some other details.  If an area is covered with an occlusive or near-occlusive dressing for days, it can cause some skin reaction.  It's best to review your situation with your surgeon who can offer better insight.
