I have a red beard. Is it possible to get a transplant in order to have same color beard as my hair?

Hello! All hair on my body is either brown or black, apart from my beard which is orange/brown. Is it possible to get a beard transplantation, in order to have have the red beard removed, and brown beard inserted? Sincerely, Nickolai.

Beard hair is a genetic trait similar to the color of your eyes and hair. Some people are born with the genes for beard hair some are not.

Beard hair transplant with scalp hair can look different.  This is because scalp hair can look different than beard hair.  This is an unavoidable fact associated with beard hair transplant.  If your beard hair is light and scalp hair is dark or grey, it will not change over time....

Dry skin can be an issue causing white flakes like dandruff.  It is a good idea to check with your doctor to make sure the area is healing well and the type of shampoo your doctor recommends.  Most doctors recommend mild shampoos.  Finally FUE leaves a WHITE scar.  Thousands...

Thanks for the question.  It is best to follow up with your doc.  Topical steroids are temporary.  Long term uses can cause color changes to skin or thinning. I am not sure why it is read after 4 months.

Ask your doctor before starting any medication.  You need an examination by a doctor for your medical problems.  Facial hair is a genetic trait.  Medications (or testosterone) will not grow facial hair.
