Hi, I am 24 years old and from many years I'm thinking of getting an eyelid surgery. I noticed I few years ago that my right eye skin is excessive and it goes too much into my eye, I want it to be symmetric, so, like my left eye. My only option is surgery? Or it can be fixed permanently with laser? And also, I checked pictures of when I was a child and it was there, so I think it's like this since I was born. I also think that it makes my eyebrow asymmetric, it's like more high
Answer: Upper blepharoplasty It's possible to give you a crease that is higher and more symmetric with upper eyelid surgery. During the surgery a small amount of fat and excess skin will be removed, and your crease will be formed and set at a bit higher. If you want the best idea of what is possible for your eyes, do your due diligence, find an experienced surgeon, and have him/her evaluate you in person and discuss your options. @drdonyoo

Answer: An Upper Blepharoplasty To Address Your Eyelid Sagging This is a common question. Upper eyelid hooding and Asymmetries can be corrected with blepharoplasty or cosmetic eyelid surgery. It is one of the first cosmetic surgeries people usually get. While the average age might be 30 to 50's, some patients get this done in their 20s. It really depends on your unique anatomy as well as what exactly is bothering you. Botox injections as well as laser treatments can also be a tremendous benefit if you are not interested in surgery. Of course, there are also many combinations. The recovery & downtime is very minimal. There are usually no drains, most people can go out the same day, you can shower the next day and most patients take no pain medicine. There are never any guarantees of course with any procedure whether it is surgical or nonsurgical in nature. I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot of eyelid lifts but also offers all the nonsurgical options such as injectables and laser treatments. Go over your concerns with them and make sure above all, you walk out of there with several options and an idea of the pros and cons to each of them as well as realistic expectations. I hope this helps answer your question. If it does, please take a moment to up vote this answer on the “respond” button on the top right.

Answer: Excessive skin on your right eyelid Thank you for your inquiry. Based on two pictures, there is excessive skin on your right eyelid. Surgery will be able to improve. Cutting excessive skin and making a symmetric double eyelid will be needed by surgery. It will take 30 minutes to 1 hour. Please visit board-certified plastic surgeons who have experiences of your case.
