Talking normally after surgery?

I have a job where I have to talk on the phone pretty frequently. I'll probably take about a week off from work, but I was wondering, how long after surgery does it typically take to sound "normal" again? I mean, considering that I won't be able to breathe through my nose for a while, I'm assuming I'm going to sound like I have a cold or something, right? I'm just trying to schedule some work stuff. Thanks!

Answer: Timing for a normal voice may be variable after rhinoplasty, depending to a degree, on your preoperative nasal anatomy.
