ThermiVa after O shot?

We don’t have Thermiva at my office, but we do have a similar device called the Forma V, which is very similar as it uses radio frequency. Additionally, the O shot is one of our most popular procedures, and our surgeon has been doing them for almost 10 years. It is the rare occurrence that a patient needs two back to back O shots, I’m not sure why your med spa is telling you that you need two. At our spa when we do Forma V we like to do a series of three for patients, depending on the reason they want it and they are 4-6 weeks apart, the closer to four weeks, the better because of the collagen cascade. They can have their O shot anywhere in that series of treatments, after the RF treatment and the vast majority of patients only need one O shot every 12-18 months . I hope this helps.

As a practitioner who has been performing Oshot plus Cliovana to improve orgasm and also using Femilift, votiva, and Morpheois 8V in my practice I have noticed the best way is to do 3 sessions of Morpheous 8 V and 6 weeks after the 3rd Morpheous 8 V if needed you can do the Oshot or Cliovana.

I suggest you start with thermiva followed by the O shot. It’s unnecessary to expose the injected platelets to increased heat

The O-Shot First:
The O-Shot (PRP injection) stimulates tissue repair and rejuvenation by activating growth factors. This treatment is minimally invasive and does not directly impact the external tissue, making it a safe first step.
ThermiVa After O-Shot: ThermiVa uses radiofrequency to tighten tissues and improve circulation. While effective, it involves heat, which can temporarily affect tissue regeneration or inflammation if done too soon after PRP injections.
Spacing Considerations:

The ideal sequence is often to perform ThermiVa first, allowing the tissues to heal before enhancing their regenerative potential with PRP. However, since you’ve scheduled the O-Shot already, proceed as follows:
Wait at least 2-3 weeks after the first O-Shot to begin ThermiVa. This gives the PRP time to start working without interference.
Complete the ThermiVa sessions before your second O-Shot, if possible. ThermiVa requires no downtime, but tissue healing after the procedure might enhance the effectiveness of the subsequent PRP injection.
Why This Order May Work:
While some practitioners prefer ThermiVa first, there’s no significant evidence to suggest that starting with the O-Shot will reduce results or cause damage. PRP and radiofrequency target similar but distinct aspects of tissue health, and both promote healing.
Key Tips:
Communicate with Providers: Ensure both practitioners are aware of the other treatment and can coordinate for optimal results.
Follow Provider Protocols: Adhere to aftercare recommendations for both procedures to maximize outcomes.
Listen to Your Body: If you experience any irritation or unusual symptoms between treatments, discuss them before proceeding with the next step.
This order is unlikely to compromise your results if spaced appropriately. You're already taking an active approach by planning carefully, which sets you up for success!

It is ok to combine the O-shot with topical radiiofrequency for vaginal rejuvenation and sexual health; in my practice, we frequently do Votiva (a topical radiofrequency treatment similar to Votiva) immediately followed by the O-shot for better combined treatment results. If you must separate them, it probably makes sense to give the O-shot 1-2 weeks to recover before doing Thermiva, just in case you get a bruise from the injection which can make some providers hesitate to proceed with Thermiva. It is preferred to do the Thermiva first, as heat from the radiofrequency may damage the platelets you just injected. You can do O-shot in the same session after Thermiva to promote healing, but I always do the Thermiva first.

We have had great success doing the ThermiVa series of three (one per month) with an O shot delivered at the same time as the third ThermiVa. If you are getting them done at separate providers the order is not critical but if you do the O shot first I would wait 4 or more weeks before doing the first ThermiVa.

I would recommend all thermiva treatments. Following that, I would recommend the o-shot which only requires one treatment. It takes 90 days to see full effects from the OShot, and therefore, I do not agree with doing two unless at 6mo you see no results. The Oshot can be done on the day you do the last thermiva treatment but only AFTER, otherwise you will destroy the platelets with the heat from laser.
