I am planning to do both the O shot and thermiva. My main concern is sexual dysfunction.I am 54, menopausal, 2 vaginal births.I have to go to 2 separate locations for these services so I need advice. The o shot was more important to me, so I booked it first. They do 2 spaced 1 month apart. When should I schedule the thermiva in relation to the 2 O shots? Is this order ok? I have read only of the O shot after thermiva. I do not want to lessen results or cause damage.
Answer: ThermiVa after Oshot I suggest you start with thermiva followed by the O shot. It’s unnecessary to expose the injected platelets to increased heat

Answer: ThermiVa or O Shot question answer Thank you for sharing your story—and I'm truly sorry to hear how long you’ve been dealing with these challenges. It's more common than people think, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating or disheartening. When it comes to lack of sensation during intercourse—especially after pelvic organ prolapse repair—there are a few potential reasons: Nerve disruption or scarring from surgery can reduce sensation. Pelvic floor muscle dysfunction may persist even after prolapse correction. Laxity or reduced blood flow in the vaginal tissues can contribute to feeling “numb” or disconnected during intimacy. Based on what you’ve described, you may benefit from a combination approach. Here’s how we typically help patients like you: The O-Shot® (PRP injection): This helps stimulate nerve regeneration, improve blood flow, and increase sensitivity and sexual response. Many women report improved ability to orgasm and enhanced pleasure after this simple, in-office treatment. Vaginal Tightening (Vaginoplasty): If there is persistent laxity or stretching of the vaginal canal, surgical tightening can restore tone and support, which may help with friction and sensation during intimacy. Laser or RF Therapy: Treatments like Votiva or ThermiVa can improve tissue quality, lubrication, and mild sensation loss—but are less effective than surgery for more significant concerns. I’d recommend coming in for a detailed evaluation where we can assess what’s going on anatomically and tailor the best solution for you. The goal is not only to restore function but to help you feel like yourself again. We’re here for you, and I’d be honored to help you take the next step toward feeling better. Warmly, Dr. David Ghozland

Answer: Thermiva after O-shot It is preferred to do the Thermiva first, as heat from the radiofrequency may damage the platelets you just injected. You can do O-shot in the same session after Thermiva to promote healing, but I always do the Thermiva first.

Answer: Combination of the O Shot and ThermiVa We have had great success doing the ThermiVa series of three (one per month) with an O shot delivered at the same time as the third ThermiVa. If you are getting them done at separate providers the order is not critical but if you do the O shot first I would wait 4 or more weeks before doing the first ThermiVa.

Answer: O shot and thermiva We don’t have Thermiva at my office, but we do have a similar device called the Forma V, which is very similar as it uses radio frequency. Additionally, the O shot is one of our most popular procedures, and our surgeon has been doing them for almost 10 years. It is the rare occurrence that a patient needs two back to back O shots, I’m not sure why your med spa is telling you that you need two. At our spa when we do Forma V we like to do a series of three for patients, depending on the reason they want it and they are 4-6 weeks apart, the closer to four weeks, the better because of the collagen cascade. They can have their O shot anywhere in that series of treatments, after the RF treatment and the vast majority of patients only need one O shot every 12-18 months . I hope this helps.
