Hi Avv666, Thank you for your question regarding which doctors perform a lift for the lower inner buttocks. The lower inner buttock lift to which you are referring is called the infra-gluteal fold lift or reduction. The infra-gluteal fold is also called the "banana roll". However, the "banana roll" is the excess skin and fat on the posterior upper thigh. The "banana roll" is not the buttocks. During an infra-gluteal fold lift or reduction, an incision is made in the crease between the lower buttock and the upper thigh. Dissection is carried upward on the lower portion of the buttocks. Then, an elliptical area of lower buttock skin and fat is removed. The incision is closed, and the resulting scar is in the infra-gluteal fold. The banana roll can be removed either with liposuction or an incision in the infra-gluteal fold. To remove the skin of the banana roll, an incision is made in the infra-gluteal fold, and dissection is performed down the thigh (not up the buttock). The banana roll is removed, and the upper posterior thigh is elevated. The resulting scar is in the infra-gluteal fold. The thong lift is completely different. During a thong lift, an incision is made on each buttock cheek. The incision is made inside each buttock and starts close to the anus. The incision arches over the top of the buttocks. The length of the thong incision depends on how much skin needs to be removed. "Chicken butt" is an urban term and does not accurately describe a medical condition. Good luck.
