Im a reporter and my job consists of carrying gear, interview people each day and sitting down to work on my story. Anyways is that enough time..or do you have any advice?
Answer: Back to work after BBL Thank you for your question.I always recommend to my patients can return to an "office job" that does not involve sweat or load weight to 02 weeks p.o. If it is a job that involves activity or heavy lifting, i recommend returning to work a month after p.o. to prevent surgery damage.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: Returning to Work After BBL Always ask your surgeon as this will depend upon surgeon preference and the specifics of your surgery. Most of my patients take off 7 to 10 days. Anything earlier is probably pushing the limit, but some of my patients have returned to light work after 5 days.In addition, I tell my BBL patients to minimize sitting. If they have to sit, it is critical that every 30 minutes or an hour that patients get up and stand for a few seconds to take the pressure off. This reduces the chance for fat necrosis. After 6 weeks the fat has revascularized, and you have a very good idea of your final results. You will have to take it easy when returning to work with the heavy lifting.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Answer: 10 days off work to recover from a BBL should be fine, but check with your surgeon. Thank you for your question. Most people take anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks away from work after getting buttock enhancement, so taking 10 days off puts you well within that range. However, since you mention that your job involves a lot of sitting, take special precautions to avoid sitting for prolonged periods of time. Try to get up at least briefly every 30 minutes or so to prevent your butt from getting too sore and promote blood flow. Good luck.

Answer: Is it ok to go back to work after a BBL? Always listen to the advice of your specific surgeon who knows the specifics of your individual case. For my patients following surgery, they are placed in a compression garment to assist with swelling; this garment needs to be worn for four to six weeks, depending on their rate of healing and the individual person. There will be swelling and soreness of the buttocks area, and any discomfort the patient is feeling during this time can be relieved using prescribed pain medication. Sitting or lying on the back should be avoided for the first week or two after surgery, and cushions should be placed under the buttocks for several weeks afterwards, to avoid putting pressure on the buttocks while it heals. Patients should avoid sitting on anything hard, like a metal chair or wood barstool. My Brazilian butt lift patients can usually return to work after two weeks, and resume exercise after four weeks. The results of the surgery are immediately noticeable, with the final results gradually appearing over time and shown in full three or more months after the procedure. Good luck and don't rush your recovery! Dr. Scott Ennis

Answer: Is it ok to go back to work after a BBL? I cant take longer than 10 days off work and even still thats pushing it. In general, patients resume light daily activities in a few days after surgery, and return to work in about a week (no heavy lifting). A special pillow can be used for sitting two weeks after surgery for short durations.
