Is it safe to have Ultherapy before isotretinoin?

Hi. I can’t seem to find an answer to this anywhere...Will I have any problems other than maybe slightly slower results if I get a little Ultherapy on my lower face/neck before starting isotretinoin? Thank you!

Dear 1305anon, Thank you for your question. There is no problem having Ultherapy treatment first. Most importantly post Ultherapy treatment is that you wait for the inflammation to subside by itself. Starting your isotretinoin treatment right after, might interfere with the healing process by reducing the inflammation which was created by Ultherapy treatment. With that being said, you might not be getting the full effect of the treatment. Best of luck

It is safe to Ultherapy done before starting isotretinoin. To be safe, you should make sure your skin feels fully recovered from Ultherapy before starting.
