Hello, My brother has extremely thick hair and is a universal blood donor is that is a factor. I was wondering if other people's hair has been successfully transplanted? Thank you

This is probably not an issue. Talk to your doctor about it but it would be very unusual for your grafts to spontaneously fall out with the hairs. At one month they're pretty firmly secured so it would take significant trauma and you would almost certainly see blood or other visual indicators...
If grafts are placed properly they won’t get dried out
and the hair wash is only to minimize the scabbing. Each hair transplant
physician may handle post op care slightly differently. We recommend twice daily washing of both
