Answer: Tummy tuck Thank you for your question. You will always be able to pinch some skin whether after a perfectly executed tummy tuck or even on an extremely skinny person. However, if you do have some hanging skin below your belly button then your tummy tuck can likely be revisef by re-excising the scar and just trimming a small amount of skin. Good luck.

Answer: Excess skin More time is needed before considering further intervention. If you still have excess skin after 9-12 months you can consider have skin only removal. It is difficult to tell from the photo provided if you are a candidate for this. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

Answer: Tummy tuck results Dear jasminemarline, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: How to assess the outcome of a tummy tuck To make an assessment and the outcome of a cosmetic procedure we need to see before and after pictures that are properly taken. If you don’t have your before and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. Try reposting with proper before and after pictures so we can help you make an assessment. Otherwise follow up with your provider and discuss your concerns with him or her. Maybe they can do a revision and remove some more skin. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
