Does swelling on my butt cheek have anything to do with the exercises? (Photo)

Question

I've been doing butt exercises and 2 days after I noticed swelling on 1 butt cheek. Swelling on butt cheek for for 2 days on right butt cheek right next to the implant. Is this normal? I have been doing tightening butt exercises. Is it that once you have a butt implants the large glute is damaged and I shouldn't do butt exercises?

From the photograph provided, it is difficult to see exactly what your concern is. Nonetheless, it is totally OK for patients to exercise and even perform most buttock exercises after having buttock implants. However this is only true if the implants have been properly placed into the intra-muscular tissue plane.  If the implants have been placed on top of the muscle or “subfascial“ then all bets are off and they will typically become visible and problematic over time. excessive gluteal exercise can create a bit of swelling and soreness with buttock implants.  Its not necessary after an implant and is best limited after your procedure. Please visit your primary surgeon for a follow up to make sure you don't have any fluid collection that may need to be aspirated.
