What are the risks of doing a revision on a lower bleph with fat repositioning? What will happen if you go in and remove he transposed fat? Will there be indents in the soof area where the fat was moved to? Can the viable fat be pushed back into the original position?

Answer to your quastion is yes; fat pades can be further manipulated by means of resection, transposition, or similar., although not as simple as first time. However, only on the basis of in person consultation, a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in transconjuctival blapharoplasty, can tell what is possible. Good luck.

As with any lower lid blepharoplasty, this carious risks include scarring to the lower lid which could cause dryness and irritation of the eye. This risk is slightly higher in revision surgery however when done by well-trained in board eligible or board-certified plastic surgeonThis procedure is safe. During vision, removal of the transposed fat is likely to be slightly more difficult due to scarring created from the initial procedure. This means that it is slightly unpredictable which areas may be at risk of contour irregularity. The safest way to treat this is By treating the fat in the middle and nasal portions of the lower eyelid very conservatively. It is usually most common In revision Lower lid blepharoplasty that the lateral fat compartment Becomes full and what there will be scarring it is usually easier to address then the other 2 compartments

Thank you for your question. it would be more beneficial to have photos to assist with this. Aside from normal swelling and bruising the concern is symmetry. i would beneficial to see a surgeon who deals with fat repositioning. I reposition fat into tear troughs to provide a more youthful look to my patients. fat needs to be stabilized and reposed with sutures which will be removed at postop visit.
