Having two children, I have dreamed of having a tummy tuck (TT) for YEARS! I've always hated looking a few months pregnant and having excess skin drooping down. I hated shopping for clothes and not feeling confident in anything I wore. Over the years, I went to see three other Plastic Surgeons about having the procedure done and finally this time, I decided to do it. The Grace Clinic and Dr. Reza are highly rated and when I met Dr. Reza, I knew that he would be the one to do it. He explained everything clearly and set my expectations. He recommends his TT patients also do Emsculpt (equivalent to 20,000 sit-ups or squats) after the tummy tuck to further enhance the results. It is offered at a reduced price with the surgery so I signed up. In addition, I did ask for liposuction for my upper inner thighs (due largely to having a desk job for years), which he said could be done at the same time as the TT. The day of surgery I had great care from the nursing staff, anaesthetist, and of course, Dr. Reza. All of them were wonderful and caring. When I woke up, the first thing the nurse said is, "Everything went great! You're going to love the results!" I was expecting recovery to be painful for the first few days. I did need help getting up but as far as pain, there really wasn't much at all. I didn't even need ANY painkillers, not even Extra Strength Tylenol . The nurse advised me to take the Tylenol anyway in the event I still had anaesthetic in my system that may wear off which may cause any pain to be harder to get under control. Yesterday I went for my first post-op appointment (six days post-op). I was able to have one drain removed. I went to the appointment with sink-washed hair, make-up, and walking like nothing had happened. Karen, the nurse, was so surprised at how well I was recovering, as was I! When Dr. Reza came in to see how I was doing, I thanked him for the great work he'd done. He was humble and said I was "too kind" and told me I was a good healer. :). He told me it would take 2-3 months for the swelling to go down and to see the best results. My second follow-up is in three more days where I will have my second drain removed. I'm looking forward to that as the stitches feel a bit itchy! It will be nice to be able to have a shower! When I'm able to, I will post some pictures of my results! I'm excited to share them here as I have been so inspired over the years by the many experiences people have shared of their plastic surgery journeys. I am grateful for those who have taken the time to share their experiences here. Thank you!
I knew the first time I met Dr Reza that he would be my surgeon. He along with his nurse Nathalia have been amazing from start to finish. They listened and answered every question and concern I had. He was so accommodating during the holidays making sure he was available during the holidays while I recovered. He definitely has hands of a god. I highly recommend Dr Reza to anyone looking to have their breasts done or any other work done. He takes his time and makes sure you are completely happy with your decision. I am truly happy with my new body
Before my breast augmentation operation, I was quite anxious about the process, as it was the first time I was undergoing a surgery. However, Dr. Reza and his team were incredibly supportive and helpful every step of the way - during my initial consultation, Dr. Reza took the time to listen to my concerns and address them, which tremendously alleviated my worries. On the day of the surgery, I felt confident that I was in good hands, and the procedure went perfectly. Throughout the recovery process, he was always available to answer any questions I had, making my recovery phase stress-free and fast. I'm so grateful for the amazing experience I had with Dr. Reza, and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering breast augmentation or any other cosmetic surgery.
I had the pleasure of having Dr. Ahmadzadeh perform a mommy makeover on me and I couldn't be happier with the results. He is a highly skilled and diligent plastic surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients. He took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed them compassionately throughout the entire process. The surgery went smoothly and my recovery was quick and comfortable. I strongly recommend Dr. Ahmadzadeh to anyone considering plastic surgery. He truly is one of the best in the business!
Morning of surgery. A little nervous, anxious and excited all at once. I chose Dr Reza Ahmadzadeh as he was described as having a wonderful bedside manner and for doing nice belly buttons which was a concern of mine. Updated on 15 Aug 2022: Well it s been a week and I was already to have one drain removed. Life changing already. I can only imagine how wonderful I will feel once both drains are out. Got my first look at my tummy and belly button and even though they say I am swollen I can’t believe how flat my tummy is. So happy. Updated on 22 Aug 2022: I have been off pain meds for almost a week. 2nd drain is out and I finally got to shower. Still swollen. Have muffin top and rolls to look forward to. But I’m still happy. Totally worth it. Updated on 29 Aug 2022: 3 weeks post op. Feeling better everyday. Slight numbness just below belly button. Still retaining fluids. But I am so happy with the result. I’m glad that the scar line is so low. Just can’t wait for all the healing to be done.
I recently had a tummy tuck performed by Dr Ahmadzadeh and I am very pleased. I am merely 4 weeks post op however, my scars are minimal due to his meticulous work. Dr Ahmadzadeh provides guidance on real expectations, for example, he was honest about the possibility of having a verticale scar due to poor skin quality (very thin and stretched skin above belly button as well as not having a lot of excess skin). He doesn’t push extra procedures not required. For my procedure, he did not feel liposuction was required although many plastic surgeons push liposuction in conjunction with a TT. Since belly buttons are always a concern when picking a plastic surgeon, my “old” belly button had a hernia resulting in a somewhat outtie and was stretched out. My “new” belly button is now a cute innie and the scar is inside the belly button virtually making it unnoticeable! He is friendly and cares about his patients. He was always available to answer questions and concerns.
Dr Ahmazedha is a wonderful doctor. Professional, kind, very caring. I never felt rushed through an appointment or went home with any questions. Highly recommend!!! The photos really speak for themselves.
I have known Dr. Ahmadzadeh for years now. I've had many procedures by him. I trust him completely and will follow him to his new location. He is the kindest most genuine doctor you'll ever meet. When I was sick and at my worst he was the only one to listen, he went above and beyond to get me the help I needed. I just love him and can't say enough..He will be missed here in New Brunswick!
Dr. Reza is amazing. His work is meticulous, his bedside manner should be the bar set for all doctors and he really cares about his client and what they want. He ensures that his clients have realistic expectations. I’ve also seen his work on others and it’s top notch! Would recommend him and his services to anyone. Love this guy!
He was very informative and he wants you to be happy with your results. I'm currently trying to loose and additional 15-20 pounds for surgery. Physical consultation will be June 2nd. I was trying to get surgery in June of 2020 but due to the world I will have to wait.
Depending on the type of procedure, you would be wearing surgical garments provided by your surgeon. On top of those, you should wear loose fitting and stretchy clothing. All the best!
Hi, thank you for providing good photos. Based on those, I would recommend a full tummy tuck in order to remove the extra skin both above and below the belly button. All the best!
Hi , the skin removal from umbilicoplasty would be minimal and not result in a significant change. A reverse abdominoplasty will not provide a much better result. I would recommend an abdominoplasty instead. All the best!
Hi Joy425, whether you would obtain a flat tummy from an abdominoplasty and liposuction, will largely depend on how much of the fat is intra-abdominal (i.e. behind the muscles). This would be better assessed by an in-person consult with your surgeon. All the best!
Hello Custom222, it is best to do these in stages to minimize the time that you are under general anesthesia during surgery. The order can be discussed and planned with your plastic surgeon. One option would be to dot the TT and Lipo and BBL in one stage, and then breast lift +/- thigh lift later. The recovery for the thigh lift could be the hardest (depending on the type of lift). An in person consult would be needed to give you a more accurate and tailored answer. All the best!
