More and more I’ve noticed that my eyes are completely asymmetrical and it’s ruining my already low self esteem and putting me off from dating, as I can’t imagine anybody not noticing this and being put off by it. My left eye is shaped like a downturned teardrop, the eyelid is smaller and the eye sits higher in my face compared to my right eye, which is more round, sits lower and has a more prominent lid. I’m a 23 y/o female and could afford surgery if this can be corrected.

It's difficult to say without the benefit of a formal evaluation. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
