Ridges and lumps after Tumescent Liposuction for double chin. Will this problem resolve it self in time?

You are a little early on in the post op period and all these ridges and lumps will settle down over the next 6 to 8 weeks. Just wait a bit, wear your pressure garment (as important as the surgery itself) and massage after a few weeks. Good Luck. 

I would agree with the other physicians who of recommended you wait at least 6 to 8 weeks for the furnace and ridges to resolved. I would recommend warm packs Ansky massage with a good moisturizing lotion. Your plastic surgeon may Recommend a low dose steroid cream to massage into any extra lumpy areas. The lumpiness and hardness after any type of liposuction typically persists at least 6-8 weeks after the surgery then slowly goes away. In my experience, daily massage of the hard areas makes the biggest difference in getting rid of it sooner rather than later. Hope this helps, Dean Vistnes.
