You could consider having it surgically removed and accept changing it for a surgical scar. Depending on how you scar this may be less obvious than the lesion you have now. Surgical removal could potentially be done with local anaesthetic as an outpatient.I suggest you consult a suitably qualified and experienced plastic surgeon.Best wishes.

A 532 KTP laser (VariLite or DermaLite) works extraordinarily well. Often times, only one treatment is needed. It is safe for Fitzpatrick skin types I-III. Usually, there is a scab that lasts up to two or three weeks on the leg. When the scab resolves, usually the lesion is gone.

This looks more consistent with a lesion called a dermatofibroma and would be why you're not seeing improvement. You should schedule an in-person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist for evaluation and treatment, if you desire.

I would recommend being seen by a dermatologist or surgeon to make sure that isn’t a skin cancer. It doesn’t have appearance of cherry hemangioma from the picture you submitted

Other removal options include cryotherapy, electrocautery, surgical excision, etc. Each option results in different types of scarring and possible recurrence.
