I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In general, natural fillers, such as HA fillers, can be used, when necessary, for young persons even in their teens. I emphasize the phrase "when necessary." From the photos at least, there does not seem to be any pressing need to initiate treatment on the smile lines at this time; they appear quite shallow and certainly within the range of normal for your age. In fact, using filler at this stage risks creating an abnormal appearance known as the "simian facies," i.e. the face of a monkey, since, if you can picture the face of a chimp, it does not have any smile lines at all--completely flat. You would be wise to address the body dysmorphia, rather than to chase after minimal facial irregularities, which, if actually treated, would likely leave you feeling disappointed. Nice facial posted photos demonstrating minimal naso labial folds. 1 syringe of HA filler might be enough. But how did you obtain the dx of body dysmorphia? Might need a psych clearance before doing any injections?

Based on your photographs I do not think that your nasolabial folds are visible or significant enough to warrant any type of treatment at this point. You are very young looking as well as being young and I would not start filler injections at this early age.

In the future when it is time to take action in my experience filler injections for nasolabial fold lines are most helpful when filler is placed in the midface not directly in the nasolabial fold lines.
