Hi, my name is Monica, 24, I smoked for about 4 years and Im looking at ways and treatments to replace lost collagen. Is it possible to heal all layers of skin and reverse the damage caused. I also have a particular result in mind.
I have moderate acne scarring and some premature aging. I grew up eating a very bad diet (latch key kid). All sugar and carbs. I have had forehead wrinkles since 15yrs old. I also had very severe cystic acne. I went on accutane at 26. I am 31 now. I eat and live very healthy now. Why don't collagen inducing treatments work on me? I've tried fully ablative c02, microneedling, daily peels, retin a. My skin looks slack and worse. I respond very well to filler. Is there a test I can do?
I have thin skin under my eyes and I have already tried HA filler (Restylane) and it caused lumps under my eyes. I was wondering of branching out to different filler types. Which among PLLA (aesthefill) vs PDO filler (ultracol v) will not cause lumps/tyndall effect? Thank you so much!
I got 3 syringes of Bellafill today in my marionette lines and my nasolabial folds it did nothing at all. One of my marionette lines is a bigger deeper wrinkle than the other and it looks exactly the same as it did before. How do I address this issue with my provider? Should I contact the manufacturer of Bellafill? That was $2700 for no visual difference at all. I am so dissapointed!
Hi! Ive been struggling with with acne scars and Ive was suggested to get Morpheus 8 combined with plasma therapy, and at the end of the treatment to get collagen injections (nithya, collars). The other one suggested me to get Fractora with polyLactic injections (Aesthefill). Here is my question: Can collagen or PolyLactic injections cause my face to be puffy, pillow face effect like the fillers cause. Are these injections work as fillers and can make my face wide? Which one to choose?
Hi! Ive been struggling with acne scars and the doctor suggested me to do Secret RF Microneedling season combined with collagen injections and Im a little confused. First of all I want to be sure that collagen will really help with scars, but Im afraid that it will add volume and make my face more round and plumpy like fillers, is that possible? Is collagen itself a filler and will add volume? And make my face larger and more rounded, and even make my face pillow because of water.
Hi! I'm a 35 year old male. No wrinkles but I've started noticing some skin laxity. Mainly at the forehead/brows/eyelids. The eyelids are starting to droop slightly but as I have natural hunter eyes I'm not wanting to have a Blepharoplasty. I've been to a Plastic Surgeon that also recommended against it due to slight asymmetry (depth) of my eyesockets. So, what's the best non-surgical laxity treatment? Collagen injections, CO2, Ultherapy, Morpheus8, other?
I am in my late 30s, and lost quite a bit of collagen in my face due to months of stress last year. I want to know what the realistic expectations I should have of rebuilding collagen using collagen stimulating procedures. I know its variable per person, their age, health, etc. But overallwhat is a reasonable expectation for a person to have regarding the rebuilding of collagen in the face using the latest cosmetic procedures that are known to stimulate it? 10% increase? 25%? 50%?
