Rhinoplasty can change the shape and look ofyour nose, whether that be to make it thinner, flatter, upturned or smallerhowever it is unrealistic to pick a celebrities nose and expect it to betransferred and created on your face. A plastic surgeon can achieve a certainresult but cannot guarantee that it will look exactly like that of a celebrityor another person. I would suggest that you book a consultationwith a plastic surgeon where you can discuss what options would best suit yourface and appearance for the look that you want to achieve.
African-American rhinoplasty for the wide nose and alae etc. you can have a narrower nose with a refined tip a narrower base. You could not have a nose as shown in your example since your skin appears to be thicker. This doesn't mean you cannot have a more attractive and feminine nose.
What you want done is completely up to you.Rhinoplasty typically starts at $5,500 depending on the area you live. To make sure you get the best possible result, the surgeon should perform a detailed exam of the nose and provide a realistic goal that you and your surgeon agree upon. Rhinoplasty are permanent, but with age facial features do change. Find a surgeon and go for a consult, I think you would be very happy after the surgery.
Aplastic surgeon can make your nose thinner, wider, flatter, more prominent etc.but it is hard to guarantee that the result will look exactly like anotherperson’s nose. I suggest scheduling an appointment with a board certifiedplastic surgeon for an in-person evaluation. Then you can discuss your wisheswith your PS and he/she can tell you what your options are to best achieve the look you want. Best of luck.
The goal of a rhinoplasty is to refine the nose that you are born with, by adding to, or subtracting from areas of your nose. Thick nasal tip skin often makes it difficult to achieve a very chiseled look as it creates a thick "blanket" over the cartilage. I recommend consulting with a Board-Certified plastic surgeon who will examine your nose and present you all of the best options for achieving your goals. Best wishes!
While goals of surgery can be to narrow and refine the tip, having her nose is impossible. Too many factors go into the reason for normal individuality.
From the photos that you submitted, it looks like you have a wide and bulbous nasal tip. This is not uncommon with african american noses. It is possible to get a nose that is more refined and fits better with your face. However, when you look at some photos of Aaliyah some of these are photoshopped and other are contoured with makeup so be aware of comparing your nose to something like this. I would recommend scheduling a consultation with a rhinoplasty specialist to get a thorough examination including photos and computer imaging to better understand what a realistic result for you would be. Hope this helps and best of luck.
Hi. It is important to tell your surgeon what type of nose you like. That is great. But at the end of the day your nose wont look like anyone else's even if Aaliyah was your sister or mother or daughter. We all have unique anatomy. Her skin is thinner and while you can have a nicer narrower nose you can have hers. The ring in your nose may have caused some damage to the septum which will have to be repaired as well in some cases. So yes you can have a nose more "like" hers kind of sort of but not exactly like hers. Choose your surgeon carefully because you can also end up with a nose like Latoya's if you arent careful!
You can achieve a small, more refined nose with rhinoplasty surgery. Unfortunately, you most likely will not be able to achieve the shape of Aaliyah's nose. Your skin is thicker. When the skin is thicker, you can only reduce the tip a certain amount. The goal of any good rhinoplasty surgeon is for a beautiful, natural appearing nose that suits the person! I suggest you see a couple of Facial Plastic or plastic surgeons with experience in rhinoplasty for the best result.
Although, a plastic surgeon can make one's nose narrower and/or more refined, no surgeon can guarantee that a patient's nose will look like someone else's. But you can show Aaliyah's photos to your surgeon. This will help him/her in deciding what surgical options may be best in your case. Best wishes, Dr Lepore.
Hi. So while many plastic surgeons may assume the bridge and tip are not related, the fact is that a crooked asymmetric nose may be due to external skin, cartilage, and bone as well as internal septum asymmetries. It can all be contributing to what you see. The size of the tip...
Hi Janay, thanks for sharing your photos. It looks like the lower part of your nose can be reduced slightly to improve your overall facial proportions. Your lips look fine. Plumping them won't change the nasal proportions so I'd suggest focusing you your nose first. Hope...
When patients have a crooked nose, there is shadowing effects that occur from lighting and flash photography. This gives the illusion of asymmetry in pictures. Those asymmetries are not picked up when patient's look in the mirror with different lighting. Rhinoplasty is the...
