Can infrared light sauna sessions be used in conjunction with SculpSure?

The infrared light will have no affect on your sculpture treatments. The sculpsure laser dissolves fat beneath the skin and thus, will not be affected by the infrared light that focuses on the skin. Feel free to continue your treatments.

Thank you for your question. The infrared sauna sessions would address the top layer of skin while SculpSure would address the subcutaneous layers. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to determine your candidacy.

Since SculpSure is affecting only the cells beneath the surface, and infrared is basically heat, there should be no interaction or adverse effects.  The infrared will have no effect on the process of apoptosis or cell death induced by the ScupSure laser. 

Red light therapy is safe, this should not interfere with the fat removal process.  I suggest going to a cosmetic dermatologist for a formal evaluation of your concerns.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question.  I think IR saunas would be a great adjunct to SculpSure!  They may not help you get a better result, but they certainly will not negatively impact the results you get with SculpSure.  Because many of the fat cells in the treated areas will be dying, they will be broken down by your body and eventually eliminated.  The IR sauna should assist your body in moving lymphatic fluid and improving superficial blood flow, therefore, I would surmise that this will actually help your body to eliminate those dead fat cells a little bit faster.  Bear in mind that this is really just an educated guess on my part.  There are no studies to my knowledge that specifically examine this situation, but it makes sense to me from a scientific viewpoint.  So, I say, go for it!

I would not see any harm in having infrared light sauna sessions anytime after a SculpSure treatment.  I do not think the infrared light would help or hinder the results from the SculpSure procedure though.  Just be aware that good hydration is recommend after SculpSure, so if you are going to be in the sauna, make sure you stay well hydrated.  

You can absolutely continue to do your infrared sauna treatments in conjunction with SculpSure. The infrared may actually help the body to flush the destroyed fat cells.

You should be fine having your infrared sauna session. Just be really conscious about drinking enough water. Staying hydrated is one of the ways to improve your healing process post SculpSure treatment. Best of luck.

There should be no problem using Infrared Sauna after a SculpSure session.  I use Endermologie in conjunction with our SculpSure sessions.Good Luck!

I cannot see any interference between Sculpsure and Infrared sauna treatments. While they won't hinder it, I don't think it will improve the outcome. You might consider having some radio-frequency treatments to the area (PelleFirm, etc) to maximize the outcome to the treated area.
