2nd Breast surgery, revision from the first. Can implants bottom out a week of surgery? Looks like malposition.

Dear obxgrl,   Thanks for submitting your pictures and so sorry for your disappointing outcome. Was your surgery done by an experienced board certified plastic surgeon?  Unfortunately, your situation can be a lesson about the need for careful due diligence and wise selection of your surgeon.   Obviously, you need to be seen by  qualified plastic surgeons who do lots of 'redo' breasts augmentation in accredited surgery center for your safety.  Most importantly, check the before and after pictures of redo breasts augmentation in the photo gallery , to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with symmetrical natural look and nice cleavage.    Check also the 'Realself' reviews for positive experience reports.              Best of luck,                                         Dr Widder

I'm sorry to hear about the problem you are experiencing; your concerns are certainly understandable.  In the longer term, it is likely that you will benefit from additional surgery to reposition the breast implants and/or tissues. Such surgery generally involves techniques capsulorapphy, revision mastopexy, and sometimes the use of additional supportive material such as acellular dermal matrix or biosynthetic mesh. It will be important that you make sure that your selected plastic surgeon has a significant/demonstrable experience with this type of revisionary breast surgery. Best wishes.

Of course, you have to let your breasts heal, but it looks like you will need a revision and absolutely these are harder to do and definitely more complicated with higher risks.  Good luck.

In this very difficult case ONLY in person second opinion examinations would allow a determination of the causes for the results.

You are correect in that you are having real problems here. Your tissues look extremely poorly elastic also which contributes greatly to the issues. But I'd suggest you see another local plastic surgeon for an opinion in person.
