Soccer post rhinoplasty - How long should I wait before playing and will this be risky?

Your nose is pretty solid after this much time. You would need to get really hard to break it. As hard as if you never had surgery at all. But obviously there’s a risk. If it makes you feel any better I have never seen a patient of mine break their nose after a rhinoplasty

Since you’re considering waiting until the 6th-month mark to re-engage in sports, much of the swelling will be diminished by this time, though the nose will be in a state of recovery for a year or more post-op.
It’s important to note that rhinoplasty is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures, requiring experience, skill, and even artistry to achieve an optimal outcome. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques. The recovery period after surgery ranges from 6 months to 2 years. Depending on your recovery, you should stay away from any activity that may cause a blow to your nose for at least 6 months. Otherwise, permanent problems will occur in your nose.

I advise my patients to refrain from any physical activity after rhinoplasty surgery for at least 4 weeks. Your body will need enough time to heal. It's allowed to start jogging and swimming 4 weeks after the operation. Strenuous exercise and sports such as soccer should be avoided for 3 months. Your body is adjusting to the entire structure of your nose being changed and risking the healing process is not recommended.
