Is facial/ cheek swelling normal 8 months after rhinoplasty?

Thank you for your question. Though much of the swelling is reduced within four months following rhinoplasty, your nose will be in a phase of recovery for at least one year following your rhinoplasty procedure.
If you’re concerned about the swelling you’re experiencing, I recommend scheduling an appointment with the surgeon who performed your rhinoplasty, or in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to discuss your recovery process with you and any concerns you may have.

Most of the swelling is gone in the first six months. However, it takes about twelve months after surgery to resolve.
