Rhinoplasty to Possibly Make my Eyes Look a Bit Less Wide Set? (photo)

              Narrowing the nose can make the eyes look more wide set. 

 Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of rhinoplasties and rhinoplasty revisions each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.

Rhinoplasty for less wide set eyes is not for u. It will make your beautiful eyes look wider apart if the nasal bones are narrowed.  u look great the way u r   

You have beautiful features-  a rhinoplasty does not alter the dimensions of the face but improves the symmetry and harmony of the features. I would recommend a consult with a rhinoplasty surgeon and request a morph- seeing an expected result should answer your question visually better than any description can. Good luck!

Occasionally I have a patient ask how a planned rhinoplasty will affect her eyes, because she's worried that the operation will make her eyes look closer together, or farther apart. The operation will do neither. Despite some people being understandably concerned about this issue, it never comes up after surgery; I've never had a patient complain that the eyes look wider apart or closer together. It seems to be one of those academic questions that just turns out not to materialize as a problem.

The only comment I get is that sometimes a patient with a very large nose says that her eyes look better after surgery because the nose no longer takes up so much attention.

At least from the images you submitted, your nose doesn't have any overwhelming feature to address surgically. Be sure you define exactly for your surgeon what you want changed, and get confirmation that he understands and can accomplish those changes. See the "Web reference" link for more suggestions.

Thank you for your photos and questions.  I would not narrow the bridge of your nose at all during rhinoplasty, as this will have the opposite effect as desired.  However, reduction of the hump, and slight refinement of the tip will be beneficial.

 A rhinoplasty will not make the eyes anymore look less wide than they are.  The rhinoplasty  will make the nose fit better with your facial features  and make the nose look less prominent and  people tend to focus more on your eyes rather than the nose

Your features look very appealing, including your eyes!  If you decide to go ahead with rhinoplasty, it will not affect the appearance of your eyes.  There's really no way to bring them closer together, and in my opinion they look just fine as they are.

It's hard to imagine your exact goals for rhinoplasty, particularly without a side view of your face.  If you are serious about nose surgery, do consult at least two or three rhinoplasty specialists, listen to them carefully and make sure you look at their before and after photos.

Rhinoplasty will not make your eyes look any closer. If anything you risk making them look further apart by any nasal narrowing.

A rhinoplasty will but you facial features in harmony but will not alter the distance between your eyes.  Computer imaging would be helpful for you to have an idea of what will look good.
