Why is it hard to breathe 9 months after rhinoplasty?

It’s been 9 months since my rhinoplasty and I still find it hard to breathe at times. My breathing was perfectly fine before rhinoplasty. But now Every morning I wake up with clear mucus It’s harder to breathe mainly when I’m laying down.

Hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question its difficult evaluate you if the case dont have a picture, my recommendation is get  a consultation in person with a plastic surgeon to discuss all about theme.

You need to have patience with your body as it begins to heal. The skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. Right now, concentrate on other things you like to do and...

Thanks for your question, you need to be seen and have a complete evaluation before we can give you any recommendation, surgery itself can make your nose dry for short period of time or longer, incomplete reduction of blocking structure can also cause blockage of airway. good luck!
